After a canal walk, my daughter came home with pockets full of flowers which she was desperate to keep.
So we placed them inside some kitchen roll, inside a heavy book and with a heavy weight on top.
After 2 weeks they were successfully pressed and we’ve now made two bookmarks using a few flowers, some cream card & then laminated it to preserve and protect the flowers.
In the last one we made, I used a hole punch so we could thread some wool through for a tassel.
This was a leaving gift for her teacher, and worked rather beautifully!
